The healing and protective qualities found in selected native plants combine in this selective blending of essential oils inspired by the traditional colonial bush garden. Each blend is distinctive and unique in character.

Four Essential Oil Blends used in our body care range are dominantly;

Western Desert grown SANDALWOOD oil - unique to our products and obtained directly from the one of few licensed families that plant and harvest the trees in the semi arid western desert, as they have for generations. Selected trees are more than 50 years old and produce a pure, sticky, highly potent oil. Sandalwoods are enjoyed for their deep fragrance, and their antiseptic, healing and aromatherapy benefits.

Our BUSH LEMONS blend is a balanced mix of lemon scented gums, lemon myrtle, and lemon tea trees. Along with their antibacterial and antiseptic qualities the delicious natural perfume of bush lemons enhance all of our products-from soaps and mud masks to body creams and sea salts and candles.

The BORONIA AND BUSH CITRUS has an uplifting quality evoking memories of hot shimmering summers. The deep floral berry style of the precious boronia is delicate and feminine. Uniquely Australian, floral in style, well rounded. Boronia yield is low making the essential oil rare, and very expensive. Little of the annual crop is available, as the bulk is pre purchased by the European perfuming industry

BLUE NATIVES - antiseptic, moisturizing and soothing. The clear menthol of Blue Gums is balanced with the deep Blue Cypress. The Australian Aborigines knew of the amazing skin moisturizing properties of Blue Cypress for thousands of years, and used it to protect their skin from the northern desert climate.

Four Essential Oil Blends used in soap and candles are;

SPICY BUSH CLASSIC. A clear bright eucalypt and tea tree blend with pure gumnut extracts create spicy hints of a long past bushfire and the energetic new growth now established. Colour is a earthy red, like our vast outback.

PEPPERMINT GUMS. Broad and narrow leaved peppermint gums create a lime tone to the minty gums that grow thick in southern forests by the coast. Often said to be the most "aussie bush" from our range but perhaps that's also to do with the grey/green colour too.

BLUE GUMS, BLUE MALLEES. These trees and bushes have that lovely clean eucalypt menthol quality, and they contribute heavily to the projects which preserve old growth forests, are renewable crops, and are also effective in producing carbon credits. Coloured in blue, typical of our big blue waters and endless sky.

LEMON SCENTED GUMS. The fresh lemon fragrance is somehow not citrusy. These tall elegant trees are a favourite in Australian parks and gardens, they sometimes line inner-city roads or farm driveways. In hot dry weather their fresh scent whafts about in the most refreshing way. We coloured this a buttery yellow to be also reflective of the early morning and late afternoon sun that basks everything in gold, as it softens mood of the landscape.
